[abstract]ORIGAMI

i remember the smallest things… we were eating ethiopian food in this random little dive. talking about what we like about each other and how something that started so casual grew into something so much more. the only distance between us was a wicker table and it felt so nice and normal and i wished it could be like this all the time. you took one more sip of your beer before we stood up and as you slid your arms in your coat mouthed, “i love you” so simply and with such sweetness. it felt like everything i needed in this life. i love you, too.
