[abstract]ORIGAMI

i’m coming up on my last day at work. only 3 more days to go. (!!!!!!!!!) let me tell you how good it feels to quit a job that you fucking hate… indescribable.

my first korea position fell through. had my contract in hand and the position got removed, which is insane. my recruiter said he’s never seen that happen before. which pretty much sums up this experience so far. but as quickly as that fell through, i was recommended for another position in a better city. so now i’m waiting again. i’m feeling optimistic. life will become something. that’s just what it does. hopefully this will work out. hopefully i won’t be jobless. very hopeful.

otherwise, i’ve been laying way low. enjoying the time with my girlfriend. we’re squeezing in another trip together which i’m thrilled about. we’re going to be hermits the whole time. i really just want to lie in bed with her. and watch animal planet and drink beer. we are not what either expected us to be. but we both love who we are.

i’m happy.
